Dr. Markarian recommends patients be sure to see plenty of tummy tuck before and after pictures of women who have a similar appearance to their own and preferably at different time frames (3 weeks out, 3 months out, etc) to more accurately predict your own surgical outcome.

25-34 year old woman

3 months following a Tummy Tuck with 360 Liposuction

I am happy to share this incredible lady’s result that could not be obtained with a BBL due to the excess skin in the abdominal area that required excision with a Tummy Tuck. I usually perform BBLs, on the appropriate candidate, but an hourglass figure with buttock prominence can often be accomplished without. Instead, I combine a Tummy Tuck with careful Liposuction to “snatch” the waist (shown in the front and oblique views) and create buttock prominence (shown in the profile view).

Since this patient had no fat grafted into the buttock (as with a BBL), she was able to sit and sleep on her back and sides, which eased her recovery process.

The goal of a Tummy Tuck, when combined with 360 Liposuction, is to provide a slimmer waistline, create a natural belly button, and hide any incision below the underwear line.

6 months following an Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) with 360 Liposuction

This very happy lady is 6 months out from a Tummy Tuck with 360 Liposuction.  It’s important to emphasize that whenever a patient presents with loose skin, an excision procedure is necessary.  This result can NOT be obtained with a Brazilian Buttock Lift (aka BBL) because the excess skin in the abdomen needs to be excised with a Tummy Tuck.

The front and back views, especially, show how a Tummy Tuck with careful Liposuction can “snatch” the waist…The goal of a Tummy Tuck, especially when combined with 360 Liposuction, is to provide a slimmer waistline, create a natural belly button, and always hide the incision below the underwear line.
