3 weeks after a Breast Augmentation
A short-incision Breast Augmentation with dual-plane sub-pectoral placement of 275cc Silicone Implants was performed. Dr. Markarian always tries to utilize careful technique to place the implants low during surgery so the patient will not need to wait long afterwards for the implants to drop. The implants will drop further but both the patient and Dr. Markarian felt they were already in a very good position at 3 weeks out. One of my other goals is to try and place the incision as close to where the final breast crease will be. (See the last picture on the right).

240cc high profile implants were removed, significant capsular excision and modification was performed, and the old implants were exchanged for moderate profile silicone implants – 575cc on the right, and 600cc on the left.

Capsular Contracture Treatment

3 weeks after surgical treatment of capsular contracture with immediate Breast Implant Removal and Replacement
Dual plane breast augmentation was performed with new silicone breast implants placed underneath the muscle. Additionally, the prior scarred capsule was removed and improvement in symmetry was appreciated.
