Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)

Before eyelid surgery, many patients feel they look tired and old. Eyelid surgery is performed to tighten and lift skin around the eye. Surgery may be performed on the upper lids, lower lids, or both.

Earlobe Repair

There are many reasons a patient may need an earlobe repair, including ripped earring holes or stretched earlobes. Dr. Markarian will reshape the earlobe and fix any irregularities or tears patients may suffer with.

Facelift

The aim of a facelift is to remove or reduce signs of facial ageing. This involves removing or tightening loose skin, removing jowls, tightening the jaw line, and lifting the brow and cheek areas. Many patients are apprehensive about facelifts because of news stories where people have been received unnatural results. Dr. Markarian prides himself on producing beautiful, natural appearances for women.

A 60 yr old woman is shown 2 months after a facelift. The goals of a facelift (rhytidectomy) are to reduce fine lines and deep facial folds, to eliminate “jowling” and sagginess created by loose muscles or excess skin and fat, and to restore a sharper, firmer-looking jaw line and eliminate “neck wattles”.

Female Rhinoplasty

Most rhinoplasty candidates feel their nose is the focal point of their face and that it overwhelms their other features. The most requested rhinoplasty modifications are changing the size or angle of the nose, and reducing the dorsal hump (also referred to as “Straightening the bridge”.

A 30 yr old woman is shown 6 weeks post-op from a rhinoplasty. Dorsal hump reduction was performed, in addition to deprojection of the nasal tip, and tip rotation to improve her nasal droop both at rest and when smiling. Multiple cartilage grafts were performed to help provide long term stability and help provide a natural result.

Genioplasty (Chin Augmentation)

Some patients desire an enhanced jawline and refined chin shape and size. Chin augmentation can be performed a variety of ways, including implants, injectable & fillers and surgical procedures.

Neck Lift

Aging of the neck causes a combination of loose skin and muscle, as well as some excess fat. A neck lift can restore a tight,  youthful appearance to the skin area under the chin and neck which has lost elasticity and exhibits banding.

Otoplasty (Ear Pinning or Ear Reshaping)

Ear surgery is an option for patients who want to have smaller ears, have their ears stick out less or to fix the position and shape of uneven ears. Octoplasty is an outpatient procedure and can be performed at any age when a patient’s ears have stopped growing.
